Today's tram crash isn't far from me, a lot of the people involved are probably from around where I live in New Addington, am waiting to hear the names. It's shocking! 😖 Strange day today, what with other events happening across the pond!...

It sounded like an awful accident, my heart goes out to everybody involved and their families. Annoyed me that our news was so dominated by across the pond that it got very little coverage, so I didn't hear much at all until I got in to see the London news. So sad.

A friend of mine a firefighter had to go in on the rescue, quite gruesome for him and the crew by all accounts..

This was overshadowed by other events but I used to live in Lower Addiscombe rd and got this tram to work when I worked in Portland rd.

My thoughts are with the people of Croydon.
