I can honestly say that learning to rest, rather than run, is hard! Certainly makes me realise how much I enjoy and benefit from my regular runs. However yesterday I had an early finish from work and tried a short local walk. My injured leg held out, though it did feel uncomfortable , stiff and tender, but no shooting pains - yay! Managed to walk 3km with a few rests including one on a bench where I took this photo from. Not a bad view from the injury couch !

Hi Hils sorry to hear you are benched! 😕 you might feel ok walking wise but running on it will be the real test. Good luck on the trial run. Just do short and very slow jog. Lovely view you have there. It must be calling to you ☺
