I got W9R2 boxed off today but it was terribly hard ..?? I ran on my own for almost the first time through this process and maybe that was part of it? I started this with my whole family and while we have all kept going we have ended up running in different favoured places as my 9 yr old son and I run on a track through some woods and the other three prefer the park.
So for weeks I have had at least my son with me, who has found it all much easier than me but has probably spurred me on!
I felt a pain in my calf on my last run which lasted beyond the run but I thought was gone but I felt it again today and also I'm having back problems atm.. I had spent an hour before my run helping my sister to get a huge fridge freezer up a flight of stairs so perhaps that wasn't the best prep for my run.
I felt really wobbly on my run and my legs felt very tired.. if the five of us hadn't planned to do our Graduation Run together on Sunday, I would probably take a few days out as I just feel run down and too many things hurting atm..
And then to cap it all, for the third time in a row, I started Strava on my fone and then out my fone in the pocket on my arm, only to discover at the end of my run that it had recorded nothing again..
So disappointed as I had worked so hard today in spite of feeling a bit rough and was partly motivated by thinking how much I was looking forward to comparing this run with the only other run that Strava had successfully recorded..
Anyway.. onwards and upwards... Graduation on Sunday, I hope!!

My Graduation run is also on Sunday so we can both do this!
I tend to use Nike + Run Club App and this updates you during your run on distance and split times. Map my run is also very good and has yet to let me down like your Strava seems to be doing.
I hope you enjoy SundY bin going to do a victory dance once it's over!
Good luck for Sunday! Wow what an achievement & you deserve a few days rest to help with the aches. I think once it comes to the continuous runs there are a few more niggles & aches appear!! Well done tho & here's to a great day on Sunday 😊😊🏃🏃🏃x Phyllis
That is so annoying... if you can afford it, you may find buying a simple Garmin forerunner 10 may be a good investment and you can link it directly to Strava. Well done on your progress, running in the woods sounds perfect to me ( my favourite place to run).... 😎
Thanks for the advice - I think you're right - I've now been outbid on a couple on ebay but I'll get one in the end. Because I think being able to look at what I did afterwards will help to keep me motivated after Couch 2 5k, which I'm about to finish!!!
How annoying but well done for sticking with it. I only had one experience of Strava not recording and bought a Garmin Forerunner 15 from ebay (I gather the 10's are good too) - relatively cheap (for a running watch) and without the hassle. Take it easy with your calf tho - I was really gung-ho and paid for it with 4 weeks on the couch with a calf injury. Hope you get to graduate on Sunday with the rest of your family.
I tried to take it easy ....but then went huntsabbing today - got up at 3.45 a.m, sabbed one hunt in the morning and then another in the afternoon - and my leg hurt all day, but cos of the circs I couldn't stop..
My pedometer on my fone recorded 27,615 steps which is apparently a record for me, but this was supposed to be a rest day, so I think I may have created worse probs for tomorrow..
