R1 was ok, R2 better consistent splits and only 100m short of the 5k. Would like to hit 5k by end of the program but not fussed in W8. So I decided to take it steady and try to enjoy the run.
FFS - calves refused to warm up and loosen, felt like I had flippers on my feet rather than trainers and breathing all to cock. I think it’s the end of the week, couple of poor nights sleep due to heat and a naff week at work.
Still - didn’t stop ran through it bolstered by my mantra - there is no problem that red wine can’t solve 🤪. 2 days off I think then it’s the final week - bring it on!

Cheers Gazloc - part of me just wants to do the remaining 3 runs as quickly as possible so I can say I’ve graduated 😊 I won’t - I’ve stuck to the program religiously
Thank you - I have to be careful I dont get into a mindset of each run having to be longer/faster than the one before. I’m really competitive with myself 😉
