2nd post graduation run and back outdoors again - phew! I did the 'stepping stones' podcast for the 2nd time and ran just 3.3k. What is going on? Even on the treadmill I ran over 4k. Maybe this was what IrishJohn calls a practice run πŸ˜€

Haha, no need to describe them as practice runs now you're a graduate. Every run is an achievement because you've gone out and done something, and the success lies in keeping the habit going and finding ways of enjoying it. I suppose there is an anti climax after graduation, but there's also an opportunity to try new things now you're fit enough.

I know, I did the stepping stones run too and ran less than I did on week 9! Made me think that my own pace was actually quicker than I thought!

They make your legs stronger. The varied tempo of the podcasts gets your legs guessing. Slow runs are leg builders. The podcasts are a mix of speeds so you get a proper workout. They prepare you well so keep doing em! Have fun!
