Hurrah! That's Week 8 completed. I'm still not experiencing this mythical runner's high, although that could be because I am so slow. One day I might make it to 5k, but at least I've managed 3.3k or 2 miles
Onwards to Week 9. Hopefully I'll finish early next week.

ahem...'Hurrah' would count as Runners High I mean...imagine if you told someone you were going to FORCE them to run as far as you have....would they be going hurrah? You are achieving and enjoying and happy - and well done indeed on staying the course
The 'high' I'm getting from running is far deeper, more sophisticated and richer while being gentle on the nerves than any high I got in the past from drinking various brands of Loony soup, or having severe encounters with overseas regimes etc, chasing dangerous wimmin' and being chased by irate wildlife
I used to love the Adrenaline highs but believe me - they tear you apart with time. Running is so much more satisfying in the strictest sense of the word
I turn my back for a few days and you're into graduation week! Wahay!! You're doing brilliantly. Can't wait for that graduation post. I'll be jumping up and down cheering
