Today was a tough one for me.. but along with 10,000 others I made my way around 13.1 miles Bristol. This run is starting to get a bit special as it marks my running anniversary (2nd this year). Excellent route and organisation and although there was no PB I was able to take 10mins off last years Bristol HM. Had some really heavy rain showers which also made things interesting.
To all of you just starting out, I could never have believed the C25K program would lead to this.. Whatever your goals are.. stick with it... the results can be amazing!
Seeking advice now... My legs really struggled with the last 5k. I haven't been able to get out and do as many long runs as I would of liked (2 x 15k recently)... Hoping that if I focus more on the longer runs then things may be better in the future???
Happy running and hope all your runs went well this weekend.

Really well done Andy - Bristol is a great place to run but I'm not up to HM distance (yet!). 10 mile event coming up in 4 weeks...will think about HM after that, although I might just be content to work on my 10k!🙂 Did a lovely local trail one today (posted on Bridge to 10k). Rest up well!
