Now whether it was fear or panic, but yesterday inspired by the posts here about Guided Running and McFitty I signed up for the RLSB run in London with Fazzical (aka hubby), and today I managed my best run ever ππ. I ran 4.23km (excluding warm up/cool down) π It took me 40 minutes so slower than last couple of outings but I ran for much longer. I had no pains in my legs, no gremlins in my head, Robbie Williams joined the others singing in my ears - when he told me to my body I did! And I LOVED IT ππ Best of all, I now believe I can run 5k, it might be slow and it won't be pretty but I WILL do it ππ
Oh also signed up for Park Rin yesterday ! Don't know when I'll go but I've committed now so one day I will do it. Who is this new me?ππ
I've started running on the other side of the village in a bid to find a longer circular route and took this photo today. It was a beautiful morning with one of those low mists floating over the fields. I've been startling all the rabbits too - can't be my speed so must be the thumping feet ππ

Wow... look at that picture - heaven! And look at your time and distance (actually I've stopped looking, that is w-a-a-a-y beyond me)! I can't believe what we've signed up for!!! Can't beat a morning run, through beautiful countryside with Robbie Williams can you?!
Yayyy for a good run. It's so lovely when it just falls together like that. That's a similar time to my fastest and there were bits when I felt like I was flying (downhill admittedly), so I wouldn't really think of it as terribly slow, especially after your recent leg woes. Fabulous picture. Have a great day (or as my husband would say: ride those endorphins, baby, ride those endorphins!).
Fab view. Your run sounds brilliant and a great inspiration for us plodding on towards graduation. Ooh, Rock DJ - good one - that's going straight on my iPod for my next run! π§π
