I found that run hard too, after the success of the previous week. Those last few intervals are getting you ready, for the final straight runs, so - well done you 🌟 Upward and onward, those legs are taking you all the way😎

I remember thinking how can this run be so hard after the last one? But just have faith in the programme, it is building your stamina up at the perfect pace and think of W6 as a bit of respite learning. Go you, two thirds there!

I remember that feeling very well on W6 R1, I thought I had gone backwards on the programme BUT keep at it (the next run may be tricky to), you are only a few weeks to graduation and it WILL happen x

Yes, week 6 was hard. But also some days are hard, some days are easier, for no apparent reason. I am on week 8- I felt awful Monday but pushed myself to finish; went to bed not expecting to run until Thursday as I thought I would need more recovery, but Wednesday I felt great and did the run fine. I must tell you though, that this was my fifth week 8 run. I have no problems in repeating runs until I feel comfortable, increasing the speed or inclines just a little each time. This gets me better ready for the next level. . I am not on anyone's schedule, just following my own programme. Some days are hard, some days are easier, but every run day is a good day.

Week 6 is a bummer! But someone else posted that it is the 'bread and butter' of the programme. There will be easier runs - and runs that are just as challenging!

A lot of people find this one a struggle after the euphoria of W5R3. I actually preferred week 7 onwards once I'd left the intervals behind. Keep going, one more interval run left and then you're onto the longer runs! Keep at it, the next few weeks will fly by!!
