Today was W9R3....The place was Stevenage Parkrun...
The result was....smashed it ππ½
This program is amazing, I have gone from struggling in the early weeks (both physically and mentally), to actually running (more a fast foot shuffle) the whole 5k. To say I am astounded is an understatement!
Things I have learnt along the way...
*Slow is ok, listen to your body π’
*to avoid a dry mouth, wedge a mint between back teeth & cheek
*when going for an early run, beware of needing a π©(π±TMI-sorry)....I wish some one had warned me, it's hard to run with your butt clenched πππ
*the support on here is amazing π
*beat up those meddlesome gremlins ππΌ
Finally, thank you Laura for dragging said butt off the couch.
