I had a personal best in terms of pace on wk5 r1 but r2 was much much slower. Before that I was feeling confident with the way I was running and now I am worrying about tomorrow's run! I felt good running and I think I just need some of your wise words and motivation to keep me going tomorrow!

Wk5r3 tomorrow and feeling the gremlins already!

Don't go off to quick and you will be fine, you soon get in to a comfortable stride and keep breathing. It doesn't matter how far or fast you go.

Well done! No need to worry! It doesn't matter about pace, just do it! And you'll wonder what all the fuss was about!😊

Slower is good! Slow as you can go for the next one.
Don't overanalyze your runs. Some are just better than others.

I was worried before that run, took other runners advice and went at a snail pace, finished run and thought why had I worried, you'll be fine, remember slow, slow and slower.☺

Good advice given already. Start very slowly and you can always pick up pAce last 5 mins if you feel you can and want to; but most important thing is to do the time.
I think the thought of it is worse than actually doing it x
Don't worry about it, you can do it, trust the program, beleive in yourself , run it slow and steady and you will be just fine ☺

As already advised, don't overthink it. Relax, go slowly.
You've already done the hardest runs, at the start.
You've already been running for nearly 20 minutes- this is just a slight increase.
Good luck, but you don't need that, just ignore the gremlins 🙉

Definitely need to displace the little beggars before tomorrow.
It's a psychological run- physically you are already more than able
I find it helps to start formulating run tactics before you get out there! Decide what you'll wear, where you'll go and at roughly what time if possible.
Slow and steady is the only way. If time passes too slow for your liking then just knock your pace back a bit and try to distract yourself! The mission is to complete it non-stop so it's no good going fast but having to stop.
Get pumped up tonight! Get your head round it! All us grads were right where you are, nowt special about us compared to you, YOU CAN DO IT
🏃👏🏃👏🏃

You'll be fine - just take it nice and slow and steady. Prepare to feel amazing afterwards!

Thank you so much for your advice! I've gone and done it! I smashed my PB pace by a minute so I have taken over 2 minutes off my starting pace! I also ran the second half quicker than the first half and the second half is much hillier! I'm so chuffed!
Thanks all again X
