New Shiney Shoes...

β€’7 Replies

Well, two weeks old now. I really wanted to replace my previous trainers with the same shoe but as ever they have changed the model. These are recommended for distance road running and after two weeks now feel like my old ones!

They are very pretty! I've become a fan of coloured ones since I started running. I like those!

Why is it everyone else has got pretty shoes 😑 !!!! Mine are boring grey and green Asics. But (whispers in case husband is listening and hears and decides I don't actually need new ones) I am becoming emotionally attached to them. They carried me through 9 weeks of C25K and got wet and muddy many times (I'm a bit of a puddle seeker) then just sat by the door ready for the next run. Even when they do get replaced I may hold on to them as a monument to the journey we took together.

Well, it was almost Hobson's choice (two colour options both equally as garish) as these were the only trainers at Decathlon suitable for running up to 90 minutes, on roads three times a week - also available in violet:

No option but to get new shoes as the outer heels on the old ones had more or less worn away.

I have the other colour ones and love them but I agree they are rather garish x

Very nice shoes 😊
