So week one is done!!! 3 runs already. Feeling good, really good. and enjoying it. Come on, let me at week 2! Helped by beautiful weather and only 8 mins of running, but hey thats 8 mins more than last week. onward we go already planned W2R1 on Thursday!

Hey Big Fella (from another Big Fella) - congrats on rocking week 1. This is exactly the right attitude to get through this program - congrats, before you know it you will be graduating a slightly less big fella ;-).
I've just completed week 1 to and certainly have caught the 'bug'. Been going early morning which I have really enjoyed peace, quite,sunrise opened up a whole new world!
Feel ready to push it a little more but won't go out now till the weekend as I do a clubercise class onThursdays don't want to exhaust myself!!

Well done you. Yes, first thing in the morning at the minute must be great. I'm the other end of the day just now, bit will switch to morning....when I tell my wife what I'm up to! She doesn't know I've started C25K, and would think I'm pushing myself too hard, as I swim and I'm watching my diet. But feeling good at the minute and felt ready to start running.

I'm laughing because I've not told the other half too. She runs half marathons a couple of times a week along with other runs. Until two weeks ago I'd never run but cycle 100+ miles per week (to lose 6 stone so I'm a big fella too!) and she keeps digging me up saying "aye but cycling is just easy all you do is sit there!"
I'd been contemplating starting running to lose the last stone and a half but that was just the final push I needed. Her and her sister organise quite a big 5 & 10k in August so I'm hoping to surprise both of them by entering last minute. 👍
