I have recently returned to running after an enforced break and wanted to go through the programme again. However when I came to look for the app on my phone I found it had gone. I see now that it has changed and the reviews are not good. Can anyone tell me when the old app disappeared and why it was replaced?
Thanks

It disappeared about two months ago, when NHS launched the new campaign "One You". At that time a couple of app - including the C25K one - which used to be part of the old "Change for life" campaign were updated and rebranded.
I think the aim was to split the contents between messages targeting specifically kids and their parents ("Change for life") and messages targeting specifically adults ("One You").
You can still download the podcasts with Laura on the NHS website and then I use mapmyrun in the background to time/distance me. Or else the zenlab c25k app is free and uses exactly the same increments as the NHS programme (except it combines week 8&9 into one week) just you can use your own music and no Laura. My friend prefers this version, I prefer Laura
Thanks for the replies. Only reason I asked was for the info I had saved on it.
I use Strava and a Garmin watch now to record my runs. I liked Laura AND music. Will probably bung the podcasts on my iPod mini and forego the music until I get back into it again.
Cheers
Yes I do not like Laura's choice of music!!! Think I'll need to find a different app that does the same thing. Like you I used to use the old app. I'll let you know if I find one i like!
