Help with audio issue

Having read recent post recommending wireless headset (Sony NW-WS414) with ambient sound function good for running I splashed out and bought one. I have transferred music and podcasts but wonder if anyone can tell me how you manage to locate specific playlist or folder? I expected a voice over to give title of playlist/folder/artist as my little shuffle did. Was I expecting too much?
