Am sat here on my sofa trying to talk myself into running w5r2 tonight... It's school hols so no getting it done first thing for me this week. I went out on bank hol Monday morning, then worked a night shift Monday night with no sleep before or during, just a 2 hour nap on Tuesday morning while my eldest watched the younger 2 kids. Went to bed early last night before I was woken at 1am by phone call to collect my middle boy from his sleepover as he didn't feel well, and by the time I got him home and settled my husband had a raging temp too... Sorry if it sounds like one big moan, I'm really wanting to get out but feeling scared of going up to 8 minute runs while running on fumes haha!! 😴

Running is the best thing when you're knackered as it really does give you a boost of energy. Just go and try it. You'll feel so much better afterwards.

You are right about the fitness but, but I think I 'need' to get out the house... so it's either run or Morrison's as my options!!

You'll probably be glad you went if you go and do it and probably sleep better tonight x

Guessing from the quiet you've gone. Hope it goes ok. You'll probably surprise yourself as others have said πŸ‘πŸ»

Yes, just getting out and having some time to yourself will help. Just run, and if you can't any more then walk. Have fun! Your head will be pretty packed, there's a lot of us coming with you😎

Well done ! We're at the same point and I don't have anywhere near as many barriers/challenges to getting out there so I'm really impressed 😊

Mind you, I'd always chose running over food shopping....

I went, and it was a lovely evening run! I went down a little country lane near us that I'd never been down before, and came across Shetland ponies, a tonne of lambs and 2 deers, not bad seeing as I live on the edge of a big town near to the dual carriageway & motorway. Feeling much brighter for it and chuffed to manage 8 minutes πŸ˜†

Thankyou Biscuit0107 , it can be hard to get out around my shifts and kids sometimes but I usually pencil the runs into my diary at the start of the week to make me stick to them because this running lark has really helped my sanity/stress levels so I'm determined not to let it slip. Definitely agree on the food shops! Keep up your great work too, I'm scared but am beginning to see w5r3 could be maybe, just maybe, possible!
