Hi Ian, Welcome aboard !

Yes , perfectly understandable re the nervousness, weve all been there , so try not to worry too much.

Just keep doing what you've been doing, slow and steady, you can do it !

Good Luck and please keep posting ,it really helps in keeping you focused and motivated ! :-) xxx

Hi, you will be fine! We all follow the mantra of slow , slow ,slow and it really helps to get through the longer stages, speed comes itself later on or after graduation, and this forum is great for support!

I felt EXACTLY like you last Friday! But today I did W4R1 feeling just like you described beforehand. I happened to read Tombenoly's post this morning before my run (link below) which I think really helped me! If I felt like I was struggling which happened maybe once or twice, I slowed down and that seemed to get me through. Good luck! Sure you'll amaze yourself like I did!

Congratulations on your progress and on finding this forum and while feeling nervous about doing something for the first time is understandable, it is absolutely not necessary. The progression of C25k is brilliantly devised, so that if you complete a run you are ready for the next one. If you don't manage to complete a run then you simply repeat it. You are in control, so there is no need for anxiety, which will make you tense and be counterproductive.

Keep it up and it will change your life. Keep running, keep smiling.
