2 days post race, calf still hurts

I want to get back out there and keep going, but I'm afraid I'll cause myself worse injury. I'm thinking about buying compression sleeves for my calves while I run, but I don't know if it will help, or just mask the pain.

Any advice'?

Wondering what type of race it was and how far?  Were u prepared for it?  I've had some niggles but they should respond to resting, have you tried some strength and flex exercises, that can help.  Also if you go out for a run, be very flexible, even if you run for 2 minutes then walk it is still exercise, could test out how u r doing, just b careful
