Thanks to all you amazing people out there, keeping me going. You are a great community. Why do I feel just as pleased about uploading a photo as I do about getting outside for the first time today? Must be that doing anything challenging brings rewards!
Ha, ha. Days of trying to upload a photo to th... - Couch to 5K
Ha, ha. Days of trying to upload a photo to this forum!
That is a seriously noble hound!
Thank you. She is kind of my mascot!
What a beautiful dog.
Wahey ! Well done Sue
What a beautiful dog, what is her/his name/ age /shoe size ( I'm joking about the last one
Is it a French Bassett ? xxx
Thank you, was a labour of love. She is a Hungarian Wire Hair Viszla. Her name is Licia (Hungarian for luck / lucky) but we call her Lissy mostly. Just turned three. What is you lovely puggy's name?
Aw shes beautiful , Ive never heard of that breed before, that's what I love about this place, you learn something new everyday !
I have 2 rescue pugs, Rocky my beige one is 7 and Doug my black one is 5 . They are a right handful , but I wouldn't change them for the world ! xxx
Would love to rescue a dog one day. Maybe when I retire and can spend time integrating them. Dogs bring us such joy and balance in our lives!
He's gorgeous! Poppypug asked all the questions I wanted to ask - i.e. name, breed , shoe size? (OK, I was joking too about the shoe size🙂)
I thought that! Much thinner though!
Worth the wait!😊aah lissy is beautiful and a lovely colour 😆
Thanks for your patience! I just love communicating with people on this forum. There is just nothing but positivity. Take care, am hoping to join you as a Grad some time soon!
Well it was A picture worth waiting for. We used to have a short haired Viszla, and my wife's grandfather used to breed and train the wire haired ones (in Hungary).
Gorgeous dog.
Hi Rignold.
Thought I had replied to this last night, but just goes to show that us ladies cannot necessarily multi task: I.e. Watch Gogglebox and manage tech. Viszlas are just so gorgeous. We were in Pets at Home once and a man came up and started taking to Lissy in Hungarian! She came from a working mum Essex girl and a Hungarian dad brought over for the business. Have to say I love your mentoring comments for us newbies!
Love her. Very jealous. When I am padding through the park, I see the viszlas and weimaraners. Have designs on getting a rescue v and try Cani cross. Obviously we will all now need action shots of lissy!
Aw it must be so lovely running with her Sue .
Weve had a couple of dogs graduating on here , so looking forward to reading of both of your journeys through the programme ! xxx
Yes the adventures of lissy
Aaaah she is just lovely...😊
Lovely pic. x
Definitely worth the wait! She's going to love running with you😎
Uh, she is gorgeous! I grew up with a dog and would love to have one like her ( I'm sure my children would too) but I live in a place where dogs are not allowed so I've had to settle for two cats.
Worth waiting for. She's gorgeous
Lovely dog! I love the idea of having a running companion (husband has dodgy knees so it's not likely to be him). I plan to get a retired Greyhound when I retire. The rescue group have told me they run around like mad for half an hour then sleep for the rest of the day. I think I have identified my spirit animal 😂. Keep on running.
Awww, I love your dog, she has a lovely coat, I have only ever seen the short-haired breed before.
Well done for getting outside, too!
What a lovely photo. Is it dew, or fog or ice? And this gorgeous little lady... Very noble
That is a really beautiful photo. The subtle colours in the background, the sharp frost on the leaves. Amazing.
Now she is a lovely dog! I bet she's really pleased that you are starting to run.
Good luck to you both!
