Week 9 run 2.... Tick

A beautiful night for running ( bumbling) round local park & lake. That leaves 1 more run till graduation. Got to do it now. Finding last 10 mins really hard. 20 mins seems my comfort zone. After that it is a hell of a slog.

Hell yeah! Feels GOOOOOD when you hear that 3,2,1 and stop...

But, the realisation that you've actually notched another win, feels even better.

:D

Just one foot after the other...it can  be hard.. but.. just steady and slow...

I honestly couldn't have gone much slower. The ducks were lapping me!!!

20 minutes is the comfort zone but that 10 minutes of torture is great for your stamina in the long run!!

Take the speed back a wee notch if you have to, it's just as likely a mental thing as well as physical though.

Keep going, hope you have a fab' grad run :)

Well done!  You might be finding the last 10 minutes hard but you didn't say you couldn't do it :)  You know the motto... slow and steady.  The feeling you will get on that graduation run will be so worth it :D

I did my Week 9 run 2 today and graduate at the weekend. My 1st ten it's finding a rhythm, 2nd ten I lost to daydreaming and the last 10 I normally skip to a fast track to get me to the end.  Good Luck for your run 3 :-)

Will be cheering you on! :)

Well done! It is hard but don't you feel proud?

I hope you have something special planned for your graduation run.

Not going to wish you luck - you don't need it 😊 Like you I find the first 20 mins fine and the last 10 really hard, the best distance so far has been 3.9 km - like you I have completed w9 r2 and last one tomorrow - will have to keep going to achieve the 5k - have a great graduation run 🎉

Aww you too! Think I'm going to go Sunday unless I get a huge urge tomorrow. Only achieving about 4k but I will be happy with the final 30 mins. Best of luck with your graduation run. Let me know when you cross that winning line
