W5R3 done - and I found a wonderful patch of bluebells!

Hi,

I'd been dreading today's run, but in the end it was amazing!

I was a little emotional at the beginning, because I knew that this run would smash the first of my running goals that I'd made at the beginning of the year for 2016 (to run for 15 minutes without stopping)

Laura's support was invaluable as always, so I was feeling extremely confident after only a couple of minutes.

Then I decided to try out a few new paths that I'd never gone on before and I was so pleased that I did, because I found a lovely stream, an amazing patch of bluebells, and some other small flowers that I didn't recognise but were really beautiful. I doubled back on myself so that I could repeat the experience and realised that there were bluebells on the other side of that path that I hadn't noticed the first time through :-)

Carrying on running back home I realised that my breathing was getting easier and I was really enjoying it. When Laura said that it was time to stop, I didn't really want to, so kept running for another few seconds to prove to myself that I could!

I enjoy running outdoors too, my favourite is by the beach, whatever the weather :-)

Well done! W5R3 is a huge milestone for many of us and I'm really glad that you not only nailed it, but that you also had a great little route as well =] We're lucky that it's Spring now and the flowers are starting to bloom so beautifully!

Well done, 20 minutes! In a few weeks you'll be up to 30 mins and will have double smashed your New Year's Resolution!

Everyone loves bluebells, they're so pretty. Loving seeing plants coming out after winter and everything turning green again. Keep your positive hat on for w6. Going back to intervals is hard for some and can get you down after the buzz of this run.
