Hi,
I'd been dreading today's run, but in the end it was amazing!
I was a little emotional at the beginning, because I knew that this run would smash the first of my running goals that I'd made at the beginning of the year for 2016 (to run for 15 minutes without stopping)
Laura's support was invaluable as always, so I was feeling extremely confident after only a couple of minutes.
Then I decided to try out a few new paths that I'd never gone on before and I was so pleased that I did, because I found a lovely stream, an amazing patch of bluebells, and some other small flowers that I didn't recognise but were really beautiful. I doubled back on myself so that I could repeat the experience and realised that there were bluebells on the other side of that path that I hadn't noticed the first time through
Carrying on running back home I realised that my breathing was getting easier and I was really enjoying it. When Laura said that it was time to stop, I didn't really want to, so kept running for another few seconds to prove to myself that I could!
