Im on my way Sarah !
That looks absolutely idyllic, what a beautiful part of the world you are in. Hope the achilles is behaving itself now xxx
Thanks Chris, it certainly is quite pretty! Not many places to run, but I never get bored with it. The Achilles is bearing up so far, I'm concentrating on smaller steps and picking my heels up behind, that seems to not aggravate it, but it's really hard on my breathing and stamina for some reason! I've done weeks 1 - 3 with Laura so far, one run from each week, really enjoying it. xx

Welcome back to the land of the pain au chocolat, kiddo. How is Mr Achilles getting on?
Thank you Jo, can you believe they are STILL working on the road? Yes, you can believe it, you've lived in France long enough! I think they must have been digging it up with a teaspoon....The achilles is doing ok thanks, I've changed my technique a bit and I'm redoing C25K, one run from each week, WK 4 next time. Not quite what I was up to, but still fun!
They probably haven't touched it since you left... Looks like you could be adding long jump to your skills! Take it easy on Mr Achiilles - those hills are going to be a shock to his system after all that flat ground... or maybe that's why he freaked out in the first place? Maybe he needs those steep inclines. Hmmm.
I'm beginning to think so, I think the flat might overextend the achilles....I find smaller steps and picking the feet up behind hurt less - BUT it is much more exhausting! Higher cadence I think...

Looks absolutely beautiful - sadly I'm not up to running up hills yet
