Set off for a much needed run, in the rain and it got heavier and windier and heavier and heavier😮! Headed over to my local Parkrun course where they have a lovely "undulating"😉, totally grass course. Nice and "soft" under foot, so returned home looking like I'd been on some sort of Tough mudder! These are the runs that work for me though, the runs that restore and give you back that sense of perspective when life is hitting us hard. We are so lucky to be runners aren't we? The photo is part of my run by the way, and it really was raining when I took it!!🙂

Sounds like you have had a good restorative run. running really does give you a sense of freedom. Glad that running is helping you in your tough times 😊
