Well done! Always have a rest day after your planned run, I always kept the excercise down the next day, until the legs really got used to the running, just did normal walking about and kept stretching them gently..😊
Hi Rundee, well done for starting the program it really does work.
Tomorrow on Week 1 Run 2 just start running really slowly when Laura tells you to run. Its only a light jog not much faster than a walk that is required. Hopefully you have somewhere flat (not hilly) to run.
Just try and get through that 60 seconds
as best you can. It will feel hard and you will get breathless but do your best.
When you have finished the podcast have a drink of water and stretch your leg muscles out.
You are doing it. You are teaching your body how to run. You will be able to run comfortably for 30 minutes by the time you reach the end of the program.
You may repeat any runs you feel you need to before moving on.
