How many people over 70 have completed Couch to 5k without any previous history of running?

I was 67 when I started out 2 years ago. I was a bit nervous about it all , having never ever been able to run during my lifetime - and , thinking that C25K was a bit much for me, I did this much easier Mayo Clinic 7 week programme first mayoclinic.org/healthy-life... After that, I did C25K. Last year I ran my first half marathon in 2 hours 36 minutes at age 68.

I've no idea, but we have some octogenarians at our park run, you are never too old!

I didn't start until nearly 50 years old, with a hatred of PE at school and no 'athletic' activity at all by any stretch of the imagination!

If you are not sure, just take it slowly, take extra rest days if you feel you need them, it's only a suggested plan...

I am 67 and started earlier Couch25K earlier this year. I did week 8, day 3 yesterday and ran for 28 minutes. Found it much harder than the previous two runs at 28 mins but put that down to the fact I had a cold.
