Can anyone help I've not run now for 9 days as I've had a bad cough and chest when I eventually get better I don't know whether I should go straight on to week 5 were I am up to or go back on to week 4 and ease back in ????

Sorry to hear you have been poorly Sarah. Looking back you didn't have a great run on Week 4 run 3. I think I would try that run again before starting week 5. You may have lost a little bit of fitness over the nine days and will feel much happier being successful at a run.

Make sure you are over that bad chest though as it's cold out.

Never worry about repeating a run, there is no hurry to get to graduation just enjoy the journey and bask in your success.

Hope you feel better soon. :) x

I agree with the post above. Be kind to yourself - it is fine to repeat runs and better to be confident before moving on, especially if you have had a chesty cough.

Good luck☺

Aw chin up Sarah, I can totally understand how gutted you must feel ((( )))

I injured my ankle on Week 9 Run 2 and it was sooo frustrating - Pah !

Hope you feel better soon , and try not to worry too much, your trainers will be ready and waiting for you ! :-) xxx

Take the advice.. be sure that you are better before heading out.. nasty little germs everywhere !

Take it slowly and build back up to form, even if it means the odd repeat... :)

Sorry you have been ill :( hope you are feeling much better soon

I would go back week 4 to build your confidence before moving on again :)

When I got over my cold, I went back a set to see how I felt and went from there.

Don't forget, you are doing it for YOU, nobody else. Do what is comfortable .

Hope you feel better soon! Don't lose your confidence - you have got this far!!

I was really nervous having had a week off and was convinced I wouldn't be able to cope.... I did a different run so I would have new things to focus on and ended up running further than before....

Take it easy.... Do what feels right.... But have faith in yourself and the confidence to get your trainers back on!

You've caught the running bug now! It's a lot better than some other bugs that are around. Hope you can get out soon😎
