Light drizzle when I looked out the window should I do a parkrun? Last week I volunteered on the bar code scanning so I really should. So I went and even with the rain it was great. A time of 28:10 which you could take 30 seconds off for the loss of traction around the football fields because of the mud. At the end you have that warm glow as your body appreciates the exercise it has had and to top it all as I drove out of the car park the radio was playing Bruce Springsteen "Born to Run" π π πππ

Parkrun and Bruce
That is dedication! I wish there was a parkrun near me, no where near ready for a 5k yet, but would love to do some when I am ready. Bet they have a great atmosphere and get you really motivated!
Fantastic !!! Well done you , that is brilliant ! xxx
Fab time and I hope you sang 'Born to run' at the top of your voice!ππ»ππ»ππ»
Yay well done. Hoping to do our local parkrun once the weather gets a bit better. I don't mind running in the rain but I like to huff and puff alone for the moment!!!! Haha! E xxx
Plenty of huffing and puffing at my parkrun including myself after about 4.5km. Parkrun's are great events everyone so supportive and friendly regardless of peoples ability, everyone wants to help everyone else enjoy running.
Well done! i quite like a parkrun in the rain! we still had 175 at our IOW medina one this morning! And what a great tune to end with !
