Blood, Snow and Fears

Despite having gone to hospital the other night for a serious cut to my finger and it snowing (only a little) outside I've just gone and done W5R2.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to run for the longer periods but my body just slowed me down and I trudged on and I'm feeling chuffed with myself!

As you should be! The biggie coming up next and you are going to feel fantastic when you've managed that one! Well done getting this far, past the half-way mark and into the longer runs. Excellent.

Thanks :)

It turns out the app I was using on my watch had the wrong times so I did a 5min and a 12min run but I'm counting that and as I did 12mins straight today 20mins seems a very little bit less daunting ... I will be updating the apps from no on to make sure they have the correct times as I've spotted most are wrong.

That's a pain. I've only used the podcasts, haven't tried the app

This is one I downloaded for my Suunto watch so I don't have to take out my phone I have no room for it in my shorts ;)

Brave runner... cut fingers and snow.. .go you! Well done...heading onwards and upwards...!

Too snowy here for me this morning... so I spent the day exercising by lifting boxes of books into a loft room! Hoping to head out tomorrow..if it melts!

Good luck with your timings and your next run! :)

Well done wolf boy, glad you didn't lose the arm lol. Don't worry about the 20 mins, I did 11 minutes the run before like you then it was ok

Brilliant. I'm sure you will manage the last run of the Week too!. Laura will have something to tell you at the end that will make your day.
