Week 8 done! No idea how ;-)

Big day of scoffing and quaffing yesterday but I knew it had to be done ... this morning I braved the wind and intermittent raindrops and off I went. Not easy, had my ace runner hubs beside me (who I think jogs alongside me for the amusement factor!) but 28 minute goal completed and ended up doing 30 so all in all, feeling good for getting out of bed and doing it and looking forward to Week 9. Never in my wildest did I think, a few weeks ago when I was running, walking and not doing more than a couple of minutes at a time and felt like dying, that I'd be here. This works, and I'm so glad I made the decision to get up and give it a go. Hope you've all had a lovely couple of days, whatever you're doing, whoever its with and thanks again for all of your words of encouragement and wisdom over the weeks. It make such a difference knowing you're in it together :-)

  • Well done, well on the way to ur graduation now. If you can run for 30 minutes, u can run in more interesting places too so that will make it more exciting for you. Did you manage a parkrun yet? Great to meet other runners

  • Apparently, that's the plan for next Saturday! *gulp* ... he was trying to get me to do it today but my OCD tells me I HAVE to finish the programme (!!!) before I attempt it ;-)

  • It your plan that matters, well done, you will enjoy/endure parkrun and feel amazing afterwards, excited to hear all about it. Understand you want to hold back and graduate before going wild! We put so much into C25K, must finish the course
