Calloo, callay!! I ran my last week 9 run today!! That's three half hours I have run this week and can honestly say I have graduated!! My life! It was a lovely summer's (!) afternoon in December but the breeze picked up a bit and how ever many corners I turned it was in my face. Never mind, then I thought I was going to develop a stitch and cursed myself for not having a drink before I went out. Then I thought I was getting shin splints and then one knee began to click. These gremlins go to such low cheating lengths to make you give up! Then I was certain Laura's watch had stopped. Then I couldn't care less because I realised my pace was in time to the music! Good stuff, eh? We'll gloss over the fact that my stride was barely six inches, because my feet were patting the ground in time! I am beginning to develop an assassin's creep where my stride does lengthen but I don't try to put extra speed into it. So fewer strides per minute but probably the same distance as when I scamper at six inch paces.
Im so chuffed with myself, I can't tell you!
It would have been a very different tale to tell without all the wisdom and fun you lovely people have shared with me!
Next week I'm going to have a bash at some of Laura's post c25k sessions
Thanks, and a very merry Christmas to you all ππ

Oh fabulous! It's a massive achievement and you deserve lots of congratulations. I love the idea of an "assassin's creep"! It sounds like a new dance move.
Don't forget to ask for your badge (pinned post on right hand side) and show it off with pride. Enjoy your graduation and the freedom for your future runs.
Twas brilig, and you have every right to chortle in your joy ^^
Well done, it is a wonderful program C25K. Takes us from thinking we probably hate running, and decide to do it to get fitter, to being thoroughly addicted to running and loving it
Congratulations on completing the program. Happy running
Congratulations - I hope you are looking forward to running in 2016. I do recommend the 5k+ podcasts (particularly the speed pod cast if you fancy a short run on a cold winter evening.
