Today was our park run's 300th run, celebrated in the normal way with seasonal fancy dress and cake. There were santa's a plenty, a snowman, Xmas pudding etc., lots of festive head attire and four 50th milestone runs.
My outfit was very, very, very hot, given the extremely mild weather we're having, I would not have normally chosen to run in these temperatures wearing a woolly felt outfit! - you can see I still have a bit of a rosy glow - the photo was once we were back home!
Happy running Xmas all!

Thanks IP, yes, it makes you realise how good and comfortable actual running t-shirts are π, Lordy, I had to walk a bit, I wished it had a zip! π. Then had a sugar rush with a mahoosive bit of cake, great start to the day.
Hi Curly, no medal, but a huge cake and chocolates! Yes cambridge is running on the Saturdays, I think Peterborough and Huntingdon are doing Xmas day and New Years day, volunteers allowing - but you'd need to check their web sites.
I am doffing my cap in your elf-like direction as it was really hot on Saturday , so massive respect to you Madge for wearing your costume. There were lots of Santa's at my parkrun , they mustve been sooo hot ! xxx
Thanks poppy, I just about managed to keep the hat on to the end, as above, I did wish it had a zip! Mind you, I'm not sure that would have been a pretty sight, I had a crop top and tight shorts on underneath, my mindriff has the appearance of something that needs ironing! π
