Sorry to hear about your dad Scooch. I know everyone responds to this differently, however, my wife found when she was having a particularly hard moment, a good walk or run helped greatly.

Oh dear Scooch, so sorry to hear your very sad news. I know you are going to be busy with arrangements and such like, and all that needs doing at such a horribly sad time, but running will be here for you when you start getting back to your normal routine. You know, running is very good at taking you out of yourself, getting some fresh air and oxygen across your brain. It makes you tired and helps you sleep, so I hope you can find time to slot a run or two in. Don't forget to look after yourself at this difficult time. You need TLC you know. You will be more supportive to your loved ones, and yourself if you can stay fit, healthy and sane. Going for a run is an escape and you might need to do that at some point in the near future

Look after yourself x

Sorry to hear your news. I hope that all those arrangements that have to be made go as well as can be expected, and that you still manage to have a reasonably good Christmas despite this sad time. Take care of yourself, and take the time you need to heal and cope with things, and get back out there running when you feel able.

I too lost my dad last week. There is so much to do organising the funeral and Christmas but running helps. Come back soon.

Oh dear, so sorry. It's a difficult time of year to lose a parent. Don't forget us, we'd all hold your hand if we could. Have a peaceful Christmas and join us again when you're ready.
