Thanks Poppy.

It will be on Wednesday evening since now the runs are getting longer :-)

I am thinking that I won't bump up speed to start with for that one...just take my time and enjoy it.

And going to open a small bottle of Lanson :-) xxx

Thanks Aliboo70 :-)

Enjoy your graduation run and let us know what it feels like. How are you feeling physically. I remember your first post. You've come a long way. I think we started about the same time so I will follow your last run with interest.

Thanks Cath.

I had to take 2 weeks off due to illness and then repeat week 5.

I have learnt a lot about running and about myself (talk about cliches) during these 9 running weeks.

I like a plan and I like to stick to it. I wish there was a B210K app with Laura in it. I am sure it will happen one day.

I am feeling pretty strong right now so I am sure the W9R3 will be event less apart from the end of the programme.

Reducing the speed and trying week 5 again was the turning point for me. And increasing speed and elevation gradually seems to help.

I wish I had started this programme years ago. But better late than never.

Thanks again xxx

Thanks SWT.

I sure am looking forward to running outdoors. I have invested a bit in outdoor running gear so need to get wear out of that :-)

Fantastic, Ash - have an excellent graduating run on Wednesday. Looking forward to your triumphant post.

Thanks PFW.

I was in search of the illusive sweet running spot yesterday and increased my speed a little right from the start.

It looks like I need to warm up first and then increase speed.

Another lesson learnt!

Yep - that warm-up is all important - maybe start that increase half way through and see if your body is ready then. There is that thing about your body takes between 5 & 10 mins to truly believe that you are really going to keep doing this running thing and just settle down and get on with it, so maybe increasing speed after 10 mins of running is the way to go - that way you've done the warm up walk, and then the warm up run and are now ready to get down to business.

Good luck with finding the sweet spot, Ash, I'm sure you can do it.
