Started wk2 run 1 other day was so bad, next day I woke up with some sort of virus, think this was reason I done so bad the day before, so advice is much needed on whether I should restart when better or push through?!

Sorry to hear you are feeling under par. I think that only you can really decide this one as only you know what your symptoms are and how that is making you feel. However if it's not really serious and you are fully hydrated then I'd say get out there and give it a go, if needs be turn it into another rest day and just walk but you might feel better with a breath of fresh air. Wish you better soon.

I tried to run with a virus early on and it floored me! More damaging though, it knocked my confidence a bit. I would leave it a couple of days, rest, and then do wk2 R1 again. Never hurts to repeat a run and take a couple of rest days if you are poorly. I would never again run with a virus - your poor body needs rest to fight viral infections.

Get well soon!

I had the same happen to me. I was really tired and my short jog felt so hard & I couldn't work out why. Then the next day I woke up with a flu. I stayed off until I felt better but it really is an individual choice. Listen to your body and keep it really well hydrated is my best attempt at good advice..
