After my run on Monday evening that was very hard. Then feeling very drained Tuesday I decided to give my run on Weds a miss, just walking up the stairs was a struggle think I must have had a bug or something, so I have rested but back to it on Monday (hoping I can still manage the 30 minutes)!!!

Don't worry Lotty, I went 2.5 weeks without a single run and it was the best run I've ever had... you'll be surprised. Get well soon!

enjoy the rest and hope you are feeling better soon :) on your return run don't set yourself any targets , just go out see how you feel you might surprise yourself :D

I agree with slow rob. You were right to give yourself a break - injury is more common when we're unwell. Just go with the flow on your next run, you will soon be back to where you were.

I was like this a couple of weeks ago Lotty. I was just physically and mentally exhausted and I had a sore throat that keep rearing its ugly head.

I took some time off , ate well and had some early nights and rested and felt so much better for it , listen to your body.

Having some time off wont affect your fitness a great deal.

Hope you feel better soon , take care xxx
