Following a lovely week 7 run last week I then managed to have couple of rubbish runs where my dear old leg just wasn't up for it! However after a few days rest I have Just got back from a lovely 27 min run up the old railway line and all felt good again! Am just going to hover around week 7 until I am really comfortable before extending the time further, so who knows how long I will be here!! I so want to graduate but avoiding injury is my number one goal at the moment - that and just enjoying being out there.
Happy running everyone and wishing a speedy recovery to those on the ic.

That's the way to look at it. Move on to the next week when you are ready to move on. If you are happy at week 7, stay there for a couple of weeks and build up that strength and fitness. Don't push things too hard too soon. Week 9 will still be there and waiting for you when you are ready
Glad your leg is feeling better. You can move on though! Moving on doesn't mean you have to run faster. You can take as long as you want on your run. Slow is good.
You're wise to take it steady. It's best to build up slowly. Running legs take time to develop
Hi MissW😀If slow is good then I'm very good!😉 I think what I need now is for things to feel consistently comfortable enough to push on to the full 30mins and beyond. I know I'm almost there😀
