.......but I did it. My first 10k. Time 1.09 exactly.
Chuffed with that. Was running around grinning to myself. Think people thought I was mad, one fellow jogger even blew kisses my way and shouted "go on gorgeous". Bloody hell, I nearly fell over, especially as my running look is not a good one.
Hair up and swishing is not my best look but hey, who cares. Even took a self congratulatory selfie in the middle of the street when Mabel had beeped her 10k.
As always, thank you all for your support and advice.
So it is a slightly teary and achey Jules that will go to bed tonight wondering how my life can have changed so much in 12 weeks,
Luvs to you all
Jules

Thank you Dagshar. I'm not sure how quick that is but I wanted to be under 1 hr 10 if possible but wasn't really checking the time that much. Just wanted to get round.
I have googled the facebook thing and just can't find an answer. I think it may be something to do with how we use it asI log in via an app for the iPad.
It such a shame as I see yours by logging is separately but none of my posts show on there.
Even tried asking the youngsters at work but they don't know eitherπ’
Wow well done I haven't tried 10k yet but definitely couldn't do it in that time ! How do you manage to look so good? I would be beetroot colour even after 5k
Waheeeey! You are the best, ze Beez kneeez! Happy dance going on for you here in France. Isn't it fab to see how far we go (literally) in so little time? Twelves weeks to your first 10K, that's amazing! I will be looking out for someone to blow me a kiss today, but I have a feeling that the local wine-growers will be too busy doing other things. *Harrumpf*
Fantastic Jules, just fantastic Cracking good time too. You must be absolutely delighted with what you've achieved in such a short time. You're a natural!
LOL Carrie. I was swishing this morning but I was running with a man. He's trying to get refit after a foot injury and doesn't like running On his own so I tag along.
