Good morning all!
Well after dreading W3R1 I’ve only gone & done it!
W3R1 in the pi**ing down rain 🌧 & do I feel great? Yes I do! Woohoo 😂😂 for some reason the rain seamed to have a calming affect on me 🤷🏽♀️😌
I also listened to all the advice given & ran the Japanese slow jog which for me is an absolutely brilliant run style, I was not out of breathe once & as I’ve said previously that was a big thing for me! so I’m super impressed with that & I actually really enjoyed that run although it was longer. 😃
I relaxed my shoulders and arms as someone suggested to a point where I was only focused on the 80’s playlist I was singing 🎶along to.
Secondly my coach Laura told me to visualise I was running along side a high hedge with a person stood on the other side & that person shouldn’t be able to tell if I’m running or walking as I go by!! Well as that was said I was into my 3 min run when my daughter & son drove by cheered me on & when I got back home they both to me said I look like I’m gliding when I run, I make it look effortless 🤔😁 so I’m chuffed to bits at that!!
So to finish thanks for all the advice points this week I’ve listened & applied them this morning.
