So week 9 run 2...... What a blast. Carried on and did 5k and knocked 2 minutes 30 secs off my only other 5k effort. So chuffed. 35 mins and 7 secs according to Mabel πŸ˜€

Hopefully Good practise for my final run on Thursday and my first ever Park Run on Saturday.

Still can't believe this is me!!!

Great! Well done and good luck with the final run (doesn't sound like you need it!) :)

This will be me in 2 weeks -- I hope!

Well done you, hoping to head out and finish week 7 tomorrow, meant to go today but plans changed and had no time (as happens on holibobs)

I'm so jealous that you've nearly finished hahahaha ha although I'm not sure what I'll do when I do...need to have a look....

Knocking time of your 5 k is amazing so early into doing them, I can't even cover the darn distance at the moment .....

Huge green eyed congrats xx

Thanks Bee.

Nor could I in week 7. Difficult with 2 weeks of holidays. Not always so successful. I went out Sunday morning and could only just manage 30 minutes. Thought my legs were gonna drop off!!!

I need the structure I think to keep me motivated. I did say when I started that once I could run 5k, I would be happy and didn't want to run any further..... Now I find myself contemplating 10k!!!

Enjoy the rest of your hols.

I am a bit like you, I need a structure of some sort. My body seem to be tuned to early morning runs three times a week and that's it! I get everything ready in the same way. I find it difficult to do a spur of the moment run without planning or in the middle of the day.

Thanks AM. Never really sure what's a good time but lots of people on here seem to aim for sub 30 mins so guessing that's a benchmark time???
