Did she or didn't she?.....

Well, my daughter and I were supposed to get up early on monday morning to start week 3. This did not happen for a couple or so reasons...firstly my daughter had started to walk on the runs which is fine and I made sure she had that choice and secondly she is attending a two week sports summer camp and will be exhausted getting up at 6am to go running. I set the alarm for myself but because of this, I kept waking up from the early hours and was shattered by 6am. so, I did not go out.. with the plan to run later. However time is scare for me later so I did not go out.

This morning, I slept badly again and spent ages tussling with myself to think of reasons why I shouldn't go out and that I would run another day - however..... drum roll....

I WENT FOR A RUN....!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't goto my usual park, as I would feel unsafe there at 6am. I was going to go around the streets but didn't think this would be as nice. So I went to the small local park and thoroughly enjoyed my run... getting to the end without stopping! I felt AMAZING!!!!

I am so happy that I pushed myself to go. I almost gave up thinking I have failed again but dragged myself out - this is a big achievement for me ..

Onwards I go!!!!!!

Good luck to everyone else!!!!!

Lucy

Well done Lucy, great achievement beating those little voices telling you not to go! I had an argument with myself earlier as had a rubbish day at work, it was getting late and coming on to rain, but feel so much better now I've done my next run. Keep going, and loving your tags :)

Thanks AbracaDeborah! I went to bed early last night shattered so that's why no reply earlier! I'm glad you managed to do your run too - rain is great to run in!
