First trail run

Many thanks to everyone who advised me on trail running and shoes, today I did my first trail run! It was fab, I loved every minute!

The first pic is the start of the trail, I was a bit nervous about going in! The second pic is where it suddenly opened out, on a field of beautiful blue flowers, with Cordes just visible in the backgrou.d It was very steep, about 100MTs elevation altogether, starting on grass, then soil and roots, the loose chalky stones. I managed to keep running all the way, albeit quite slowly in places. I even had enough left over for a sort of sprint finish when I got back down to the flat. I was grinning like a loon all the way home.

Well done! 100 m all uphill is tough!

I can't see the pictures ... I believe every time you edit a post they disappear :(

Grr, I think you're right...I'll repost.

You didn't need to repost. If you edit a post which has a pic attached you have to reload the pic before you repost the edited post.

If you forget this ( like me) and post the edited post and then see that the pic has disappeared in the forum, then just re-edit once more and reload the pic.

It looks like trail running is the next step, well done. I think I need to find one.
