Today I completed week 4. Never thought I would get this far but I have been enjoying it and am proud of my progress. However, I start week 5 on Wednesday and I'm feeling really apprehensive about run 3. How did you cope with approaching week 5?

Same as you, very apprehensive but with a bit of positivity looking back on the weeks when I thought they would be too much.
Although I did look for flatter ground to do it on compared to my normal route.
Have a little faith in yourself and the program and you'll be fine. Just take it nice and slow and after awhile you find your running and breathing rhythm.
All you can do is give it your best and thats all that counts even if you dont run for the full duration.

Oh I'm the same, start week 5 tonight. Have listened to the plan for run 1 and feeling fairly confident about it but run 3 is giving me a bit of anxiety! I just keep remembering that every week so far has seemed impossible and yet I'm at week 5 without failure so the plan must work!
The answer is simple. Don't worry about run 3 until you have completed runs 1 and 2. Concentrate on the next run only and forget about what comes beyond. Believe in the the programme: it's got you here so far, hasn't it? It will get you onto week 6 too.
(and the best time to worry about week 5 run 3 is after you've completed it and you wonder what all the fuss was about)
