This looks great but as I am currently only on W5R2 not sure I will have reached 10k by Oct! Have run that distance before - in a previous C25k graduate life but does sound tempting ......!
Hehe, I know it just happens doesn't it. Last time I did it I entered the west london 10km on the same day as yours, I didn't know about your one. Looks good.
I'm entered to do my local 10km on 20th September & I'm hoping to do the Winter Run in London on 31st January next year. This one is a bit close to my local event but it's in a great location & it will be fairly flat I think. I intend to do a Half Marathon in May time next year so I want to get several events under my belt before then just to get used to the racing etiquette if you know what I mean - chips, water stations etc. I do a 10km run on Saturday mornings now so I'm getting used to the distance. All I've got to do now is try to get a tiny bit faster - easy right??!!
Hackney HM should be in May next year. The atmosphere is fantastic, I have to say the people of hackney were very involved and proud of their run I don't think there was a stretch of road with out looking up and seeing people cheering you on, a real carnival wvent, with steel bands along the course. I am definitely going to do it again just for the atmosphere. Might leave it a year but I will be back.
Have bookmarked that and may give it a try - thanks.
Looks good - I've signed up too! I did my first 10K a couple of weeks ago and it took me 88 mins. This should give me some more motivation to keep running over the summer and try to get a PB. Thanks for sharing.
Ooh this could be my next challenge will have to see if my friend wants to come!
That looks great.
