Set off in the muggy evening around the local park. I started off a little pessimistic. I'd almost convinced myself I was going to fail (probably due to other things going on in my life). But I thought I'd give it a go.....
But I surprised myself and chased the sprites of doubt away.
28 minutes. Non stop. Second time.
I must admit , I was a little emotional at the end.

Hi kasmcc100, it was also my second Week 8 run today. Well done on completing it!! It's amazing what a sense of achievement you can get from just putting one foot in front of another.
And I love the idea of 'sprites of doubt'! I was a sprite in the Brownies, and was pretty doubtful, even as an eight year old
Well done. You have come a long way. As long as the mind is there the body will achieve the challenge. Good luck with R3. Have fun.
That's fantastic, well done Kasmcc, when you reach this point in the programme you realise that to graduate you've only got to be able to keep going for an extra 2 minutes, and that seems like nothing in comparison to what you've already achieved.
I find it very cathartic to put my troubles aside even briefly, plug in the headphones and think about nothing more than the music, my breathing and my surroundings!
Good luck with the last few runs, you are almost there!
