I'm running with my 10 yr old son for moral support, he's a lot fitter than me but we finished day one week one smiling, just a question.. Can you do the run the next day also or do you need a day break?

Take the rest days-it will allow your body to repair and recover. It's great that you're so keen but trust the plan and all will be well. That applies to grown-ups only, of course. 10 year old's can seemingly do whatever they want. Curse them and their little legs!

Good luck!

"The plan involves three runs per week, with a day of rest inbetween" - taken from the NHS website and my advice would be to follow this in order to avoid injury. Have fun!
