Thought for the day
Message received. I Must work harder on adding in squats.
Am on it. Would be scared not to.......
Mornin' Rig !
This is really working, I have been doing these every day since you started these reminders !
Brilliant ! xxx
How many should one do...do they really help with running???
Start by seeing how many you can do in a single set until your thighs begin to 'burn'. They are a fantastic strengthening exercise and yes, should help your running.
Thankyou Dunder I will give them a bash till my thighs start burning
If you are doing air squats I find it easier to do smaller numberrs in sets in a circuit. I do a littl mini circuit of 20 pressups, 30 squats and 10 pullups, then take a 60 second water break and repeat 5-10 times.
If you are doing anyything more strenuous - one legged squats, weighted squats etc then much lower numbers, 10 or 20 maybe.
I cant do a pull up to save my life, I find them practically impossible to do.
Mind you , I cant do a press up either ! Well sort of a half modified press up. My upper body strength is puny ! Proper Big girls blouse puny ! xxx
Oh you & me both pops with the press ups! My arms have trouble holding my body up and my bum has a mind of its own! I just can't seem to get the knack x
I did a few yesterday but my knees sound really crunchy! 😑

Helpful??? (or terrifying???)
I seem to have missed these posts, OK Rig, I'll give it a go...before or after running? On the "rest" days?....I keep telling myself I need to do something for my arms which have gone a bit wobbly since I stopped swimming, and my core - don't good core muscles make a lot of difference to running?
Thanks Rig!
Aye aye Cap'n I'm on it!
Working for a pair of peachy cheeks!
But it's so much nicer to look at the pretty pictures and read the words. What's that? Osmosis doesn't work!? Ok that's me back on it too (just need to keep it up this time)
To hear is to obey!
