Does anyone have any recommendations for good podcasts for bridging to 10k. Just signed up for 10k in late August so have about 10 weeks. I've done the audiofuel ones which I found good (I like running to a beat), are there any others?
Bridging to 10k: Does anyone have any... - Couch to 5K
Bridging to 10k
zenlabs do couch to 10k which you would be able to start at about week 9 - is quite a good program
I enjoyed the Bluefin one, it's a 6 week (3 runs a week) plan. They sell an app but you can find the podcasts on their blog. Makes you run to techno/house music
I am mad on Sami Murphy Bridge to 10 k which I downloaded from here. I love it to bits and run it all the time. I run it every time I go out running I love it that much
Hours of running for nowt. Good music too. I have the track listing (anorak that I am) if you want it
Someone put it on a dropbox thing.
There's not much in the way of chat from Sami but it is structured and she does tell you what the plan is and when to rest, then when to cool down and go home. Great music for the walk home too, it goes on for ages. LOL The first week is a bit duff though but no matter cos it's right from week 2. I did week one but it's very quiet and it just cut off.
Another vote for the Bluefin podcasts from me.
I'm a fan of the Sami Murphy podcasts . I did the 9 week programme but didn't quite get to 10k by week 9 but it did build up my distance and I enjoyed the music. I still use the later podcasts occasionally.
I downloaded both Sami and Bluefin and listen to them all the time, I just upped my distance a bit every week though, I didn't follow the programme.
thanks for all your ideas!
