Feeling lazy

Last night I had to REALLY push myself to run. and nearly didn't. I got up out of my chair and before I knew it I was putting my gear on. I only did a little run 2.5K but I really did enjoy it. It was a lovely sunny night and not too warm as I was late going out. The great thing about having completed Couch25K is you can make up you mind what to do. Does this make sense to anyone else?

Absolutely! You've proved you can do it, so now you can just enjoy it!

Yes indeedy. That makes perfect sense. You choose now how far, how fast, how long.

It is important not to pressurise yourself into doing runs that you dont want to do. If you start doing that, then you will look upon it as a chore, and you will stop running.

It is a good idea to vary the types of run you do. If you have plenty of time on a weekend day, then do a long easy slow run for example, then maybe one day during the week do a short fast run, and maybe a 30min easy pace run another day.

Happy Running :)

Getting some exercise AND enjoying it. That's what it's all about. Well done!

Absolutely!!! And to think its not really that long since a 'little 2.5k run' seemed impossible?!!! Enjoyment is the whole point for me :) and it makes me feel soooo much better. Well done you :)

Size doesn't matter, or though they say ;) Seriously, it's supposed to be fun - big or small run... intervals, juffle or full out run.... I never know when I walk out the door. Who cares, as long as you're enjoying it!
