I still haven't finished W2! I did R2 on Sunday and did a Fitness Pilates class on Monday morning that has made me sore so I'm on the arm of the injury couch.
I'm not on a good place mentally due to family stuff and I am desperate to be more physical so I can get out of my head a bit more.
I found a good site where you can get information on rehabbing and exercising assorted body parts....I'm doing some of the hip stuff as I felt a real weakness there in pilates.
But I just feel a bit meh, really and I'm starting to think I might not be able to do this.
... for me, I feel a bit meh a lot in my life, and have had a lot of family problems recently. Running takes me away from reality a bit, and I seem to either concentrate on (a) feeling knackered with the running into the wind or whatever or (b) feeling zenlike when it's all going well. Either way, it takes my head away from the other bad stuff in my life (which is not as bad now as it was a few months ago - yay!). I can't help you with the physical stuff really, but the mental side is a life saver for me.
If your body is struggling with the new regime, take it slowly, take extra rest days and do the strengthening exercises on the C25K website.
Do you have a sympathetic GP who isn't a total arse?
Mine is fab, and knows that for me it's always going to be a trade off between resting an injury to improve my physical health vs. running to maintain my mental health. He's great at telling me when to run anyway and take painkillers, and when running will actually cause damage rather than just slow my recovery. But I think that kind of holistic approach is tricky to find, and it helps that I have some history of depression/anxiety in my notes so he can see that it's probably cheaper to treat my running niggles than put me back into counselling and write me sick notes!!

Thanks! No, I'm afraid all of my GPs are total arses. So much so, in fact, that I haven't been near any of them for 2 years and wish to keep it that way.
I'm pretty well informed on body matters thankfully, so I just tell myself when to take painkillers (always) and when to stay put
