Graduation

I am a long way from graduation however I am wondering how will I go about it once I finish all the podcasts? People talk about a "graduation run". Does it mean I will have to go somewhere and get timed? Where and by whom? I am in Australia.

Nothing quite so formal - the last run of the podcast is your graduation run. Once you've completed Week 9 Run 3 and demonstrated that you can run for 30 minutes, 3 times, you've graduated from the programme. No extra timing or validation required - just request your graduation badge!

When you have done the last run there is a linked post to Graduation. There you just ask me for your virtual gradation badge and from then onwards you will have a graduation badge next to your name. you will be surprised how quick it comes around to asking for it. Happy running.

I had signed up for a 5k race about a month after w9r3. It was great because it felt like a second graduation, a real celebration of the efforts I had put in. It seems a lot of folks do their w9r3 on a parkrun to celebrate graduation, but we don't have those in Canada.
